These classes are free because the teachers are not yet certified—they are learning how to become teachers on the CELTA course. There are usually 12-18 students per class, and the teachers prioritize speaking, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and listening. The classes are not academic in nature and mostly focus on communication through speaking.
